Washington runs on proximity to power and pays for it in stress, and the city’s mental health access map is famously uneven, generous in upper Northwest and threadbare east of the Park. Our office’s location is a quiet statement: North Capitol Street, between NoMa’s new towers and Bloomingdale’s row houses, on the seam where the city’s halves meet. Walk-up neighborhoods, one Metro stop, one bus line, no parking saga.
The District practice
In person on North Capitol or by secure video anywhere in D.C.: psychiatric evaluation first, then medication management and therapy: individual, family, CBT and the rest, for adults, children and teens. Dual D.C.–Maryland licensure makes the region’s signature cross-border life seamless, and culturally responsive care is the founding posture of this practice, not a brochure line. When a season needs more than weekly visits, we say so early rather than waiting for the next routine appointment.
The city’s crisis floor
Call or text 988 anywhere in the District. The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline answers free and confidentially, around the clock, and call 911 in immediate danger. For everything treatment can change, request an appointment online any hour, or call during office hours.
