About Marie Steffens

Marie Steffens, LCSW-C has over 15 years of social work experience. Marie graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Florida State University. Marie has had experience working with children, teens, adults and older adults, including working with the elderly and their caregivers.

Marie has worked in outpatient mental health therapy settings in person and virtual. Marie is a Board approved Supervisor in Maryland and District of Columbia.

Marie utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, solution focused, as well as other approaches as a client needs. Marie has experience with anxiety, low self-esteem, unresolved childhood trauma, strained relationships and managing daily stressors.
