About Dr. Ophilia Mbah
Dr. Ophilia Mbah, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specialised in treating patients with mental illness across the life span. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and holds her Doctorate in Nursing Practice.
She supports patients recovering from mental illness (and strengthening their physical, emotional and social well-being) through medication management, psychotherapy, behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions, alongside complementary approaches including art and music. Her clinical range covers anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, substance use and sleep disorders.
