Behind the scenes, Mel keeps the front office running smoothly, supporting both patients and the clinical team so that care can happen without interruption.

Latasha is a member of the Front Desk team at Unique Minds Behavioral Health, where she is often the first person patients meet. Friendly, caring, and outgoing, she enjoys making others feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment they walk in or call.

She earned her degree in Psychology from Morgan State University and has always been drawn to work that lets her connect with people and be someone they can rely on. As a dedicated healthcare professional, Latasha is passionate about creating a welcoming and organized experience for every patient, making sure their needs are handled with competence and care and that the front office runs smoothly for patients and the clinical team alike. Latasha believes a little kindness and a good attitude go a long way, and she brings that mindset with her every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and trying new restaurants.
